Best way to spend a Sunday! Joel had great energy. He had everything prepared and organised and made following the steps super easy. He was on hand to help when I managed to get my butter sneaking out of the dough (oops, don’t forget to flour your workspace…)The best part of the class was sampling his very professional pastries and taking home my own assortment, which my family was more than happy to sample!

Wood Burning Workshop: Key Rack
Had a great workshop. It was easy to follow and I’m happy with my keyholder. I brought along a photo I wanted to use. Maria gave me some carbon paper to trace my sunflower image to the board and I also chose a couple stencils from her wide selection of stencils. The whole process was fun. I can see how it may become addicting!

Stained Glass Suncatcher Making Class
I had a great class with Hideko. Everything was well prepared. The selection of colours and textures was generous. The hardest part was deciding on my final design. I ended up modifying it partway through Hideko took her time explaining each process and was very patient. I came away with a good understanding of the process eager to do more. Plus I have a great piece to hang in the window!I really enjoyed chatting and getting to know her as well.

Introduction to Alcohol Ink Workshop
I had a great afternoon with Pascale. She gave personalised instruction and spent a good bit of time on the colour wheel, which really made a difference to how I decided how to proceed with my work. She was very thorough with the various techniques and I managed to figure out my preferred method. I am very happy with the results and what I went home with, especially my larger piece.

Perfume Making Class: Make Your Own Signature Scent
Louella did a great job. She was very welcoming. I had a good time. She gave us a lot of background information on the history and origins of perfume. She categorised the scents and we were able to try them all. It was interesting to find that some scent names I recognised did not actually smell as I expected them to on their own! And how the same items from different geographies varied. The instructions were easy to follow. The hardest part was narrowing them down for my final blend!

This was a great class. All of the materials were set out very organised. The steps were clear to follow and I didn’t feel rushed. I finished it off at home for the final step of putting on the grout. The lamp was fun to create and I’m happy with the finished product.

This was my second class with Mark and I really enjoyed it. I am happy with the objects I managed to create, especially the tree. Mark is a patient teacher and really inspires the creativity.

Kieran (our teacher) was fantastic! Super helpful. Everything was put together well and each step was clear. We really loved the experience.

Resin Art Class: Cheeseboards and Coasters
Loved every minute! Great instruction and guidance. I’m super happy with my creations and will be so proud to gift them. It’s amazing how little control you have in the final product with resin, which made it all the move exciting. Thank you

Glass Blowing Class for Beginners: Taster
Very pleased with the class. Loved the one on one instruction! Glasswork is clearly a lesson in patience and I appreciated the pace and instruction. And I love the abstract pieces I have to show for it. Thanks, Mark!
