I loved this Christmas watercolour class. It was perfect for the beginner like me who still finds watercolour painting very tricky. It was great to purchased the video add on to go back and watch again as I complete the pine cone card- that one stretched my ability but as Kerrilyn reassured, it all comes together with the final touches. I am supervised at how great the holly and berries look- almost good enough to give as a Christmas card. Thanks for making a beginner like me feel comfortable as my skills do not match my enthusiasm for watercolour painting- yet. Already looking at booking a class for Jan.

A fun relaxing night with Heidi as always. First Heidi guided our small group through the drawing of two different Christmas trees and both a male and female gnome. Then we had a chance to produce our own Christmas themed tile. We were so engaged we ran overtime! That’s when you know you’ve detangled with Heidi and her Zentangle class. Have a lovely holidays season and I hope to join some class in 2024.

This is a relaxing way to unwind and have fun with new and old Zentangles.

I love using zentangle patterns to create interesting illustrations with Niki and this class did not disappoint.

Niki will get you started, then on your own you have the time and space to complete a frame worthy piece of art. I cannot believe my final result after spending a few hours sitting and working on this project.

Today we had our first of four watercolour classes with Fran.

Our first project, the banksia was a fun introduction to painting Australian birds and flowers. As always Fran provided handouts and a template via email before the class. Then online she explains each step and provides practice time before starting on the final artwork.

I haven’t painted in a few months, so it was lovely to wet the pallet and get painting with Fran once again. I am always surprised at what I can achieve with Fran’s guidance and look forward to next fortnight’s class.

Well paced morning class with loads of examples for Christmas cards and gift tags. As always Niki explains each step clearly and provides time to follow along. Thanks, I cannot wait to make cards for friends and family this Christmas.

A wonderful free class on how to paint waves. I cannot wait to continue to add white foam and enhance the appearance of the waves as each layer dries. Thanks for a great lesson and the gift of your time.

This was a fun, practical way to use zentangle patterns to create fun Dingbatz boarders and decorations. I cannot wait to start applying the dingbatz learned in this lesson on cards, envelopes and more. Thank you for another enjoyable and highly informative lesson. Great that I can use what I have at home already- the No box option is sustainable!

I love the creative home project collage classes with Fran. It’s a great opportunity to ‘play’ with art whilst chatting to and getting inspiration from others. Today’s Holiday Escape theme was an opportunity to rewind and relax without taking a vacation. I look forward to the next DIY craft afternoon , thanks.

A good evening class starting with some new tangles and practice on scrap paper before stating the tile. Great for the experienced Zentangles and good for a beginner like me. I enjoyed the challenge although my final tangle looked nothing like Heidi’s. Thank you for a relaxing Friday evening class to destress and untangle from a busy week.

A great activity in mindfulness and gratitude. This class helped to to identify the many things that make me happy. (I should have painted more bubbles as encouraged in the videos). I really enjoyed getting marks on paper and not overthinking the process. Very mindful and meditative. Thank you for a great opportunity to reflect on the simple things that make me happy.

Today’s tangled berries class was a great way to practice learn skills including colour blending and highlighting. I enjoyed the pace of this class and using the triangle tile and grey tiles for the first time.

The pack included all that we needed with some spare tiles for practice in our own time.

Great kit with all you need to get started with brush lettering. The book is of good quality and the colours do not bleed through. I’m doing one page a day for daily practice. Overtime I hope to get better. I find the bumpy markers tricky to use and will experiment with some brush markers from home to see if this helps with grip and stokes made. Overall, a great kit. Video tutorial would be beneficial to those like me who are not very good.

Fran’s watercolour classes are instructional and very detailed. She explains what she is doing each steps of the way and regularly checks in with each participant.
It is rewarding to see what I can achieve with Fran’s guidance and some inexpensive paint supplies.
Fran’s classes never disappoint and tonight was a calm, relaxing way to spend Saturday night at home.
I cannot wait for the next watercolour class.

I was too unwell to attend this class which was thoroughly disappointing. I always learn new tricks and watercolour techniques from Fran. I hope this class reruns at a later date. Fran was polite and understanding when I messaged her.

I love these Sunday afternoon classes with Nikki that help me to reset for the week ahead. Today we created stacked rocks ‘Cairns’ and showed our individual style and flare by patterning each rock.
I enjoyed the addition of colour and sharing over markers to create a great effect.

Today allowed opportunities to experiment with curved patterns and different colours using ink and colour pencil.

A fun, social way to learn how to ink and watercolour at home. Tonight’s projects was challenging to complete but the final results look great. I really enjoyed my first class with Anna and look forward to joining again, for an easier project, in the future .

This was a wonderful morning watercolour class. I learned lots of information regarding materials and each technique was broken down step by step helping each of us to produce a bunch of watercolour florals.
I definitely require more practice and look forward to doing more classes with Pamela Woods. Thanks for a lovely class.

I love how I was provided access to many different videos giving me lots of date night painting activities to look forward to.
I’m also very glad I can repeat back this session as I was unhappy with my final painting. The session is quick, but you can pause at anytime.

A wonderful twilight ‘Lunchtime’ tangle class. We learned two challenging tangles: paradox and Cross your heart. I definitely need a little more practice- the perfect excuse for another of Niki’s Zentangling classes.

Elsa ran a fantastic one on one Yin Yang Mandala class. She began with a brief hi strong of the boarders and art the art of mandala making before practicing the yin-yang and building the mandala.
Elsa was very patient when the Yin-Yang confused me and we had to start all over again.
I would definitely do more of Elsa’s classes in the future and appreciated the one on one support to master something every complex.
Whilst I did not finish the piece during the class, I have the skills to continue the lotus pattern on my and finish the piece up.

I had a wonderful evening class with Niki who showed us seven different tangles and helping us to produce two wonderful tiles. The class was small with only two participants and at no time was I left unsure of what to do. At the end of the class, I produced two tiles I am very proud of and have found a new meditative practice. This was my first ClassBento class and the first lesson online. Thank you for a great experience. I will be booking into Niki's classes in the future.
