Join artist Shirley Wu at Fleurieu Arthouse in McLaren Vale and learn the art of silver-clay jewellery making with leaves.

In this beginner-friendly class, you'll work with silver-clay paste and discover how to incorporate natural leaf designs into your piece of jewellery.

Just pick a few leaves from your backyard, and Shirley will guide you how to to transform a leaf into a statement pendant piece or a pair of silver earrings.

Your jewellery will be then fired and polished at Shirley’s home studio and will be ready to pick up near Marion, CBD or McLaren Vale within 3-5 working days.

Private class inquiries are always welcome!

Due to the cost of hiring space, class no more than 2 participants maybe cancelled or rescheduled.

What to bring
Bring two to three leaves (recommended 2-3cm long, max 5cm long) from your backyard, bush walkings, or your favourite spot!

Shirley Wu is a multiple award winning emerging artist who has her studio located at the Fleurieu Arthouse in the winery region of McLaren Vale, Adelaide.

Inspired by holistic therapy from my previous training in Hong Kong, I have a strong interest in how the creative process generates healing in mental health through meditative making and sensory experience. My practice crosses contermporary jewellery and sculptural object making by using glass, silicone, stone, ceramic, metal and other materials, through lampwoking, moulding and casting, metalsmithing and stone caving techniques.
