  • 5/5 from Alene Zeman, attended May 2026: Brett was fantastic. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked with his guidance. Made so much food in just 2 hours all swallowed down with a lovely glass of wine
  • 4/5 from Janice McKinnon, attended May 2026: I thought the class was excellent although the chairs were too difficult to access, so I stood for the whole session which caused me to faint just after finishing the dessert, subsequently diagnosed as Vasovagal Syncope after I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Perhaps you could change your chairs - just a suggestion. A lot of young people faint when standing in the sun for too long, ie military or cadets.
  • 4/5 from John Hutchinson, attended May 2026: What I liked about this class was that the teacher focused on the cooking steps, explained them clearly, explained "why" and spared us the "chat" too often found in cooking programmes. Very instructive.
  • 5/5 from Rebecca Froud, attended Feb 2026: Brett was great! The food was delicious and easy to replicate at home.
  • 5/5 from John & Anne Hibberd, attended Jan 2026: This was a gift from our children and was a wonderful experience. The obvious time and effort put into organising everything prior by Brett and his team was obvious. Brett was fantastic in giving very clear instructions and also having fun with everyone which made the whole experience wonderfully memorable. The food and the flavours were devine and plentiful. Clearly not trying to skimp on the food. We would highly recommend the experience and are already working out which class to go to next. A beautiful and relaxing way to spend a Saturday. Thanks

The gift card I bought for my son who was about to move to Japan. He didn’t have time to use it so we were very easily able to change the class from Japanese to Italian.

  • 5/5 from Katie McMurray, attended May 2024: The class was a birthday gift from friends. It was my first ever cooking class. Brett is a fantastic host and had everyone chopping and cooking early on. I had my own work station with everything I needed right there. From chopping the garlic to sweating the onion, we made a fabulous tomato sauce. We prepared chicken breast and made an amazing marsala sauce. We received a glass of wine each as we ate our individually cooked meals and dessert!
  • 5/5 from Cecilia Molloy, attended Apr 2024: Absolutely perfect way to enjoy time with those special to you… Great food, plenty of laughs, whilst learning some quality tips! It’s all round a win - win and to top it off… a lovely glass of crisp vino to enjoy while you devour the fruits of your labor! How could you not enjoy
  • 5/5 from Yi Jin, attended Apr 2024: Hands down the best cooking class I have done so far. Everything is organised, with a mixture of self-cooking and watching instructor cooking. We ended up tasting our own food with wine offered by the house. I have to say the freshly baked focaccia is the best I have for a long time (although the chef Instrutor takes 100% credit).
  • 5/5 from Heidi Hunt, attended Apr 2024: Loved the chef. Adored the food. Can't wait to do my next class! Awesome day. Thanks.
  • 5/5 from Anu Amar, attended Mar 2024: Great class! Learned to cook really good italian food, great couple activity and its great they gave us wine and boxes to take our food home as well, great attention to detail :) Enjoyed the class with my bf
  • 5/5 from Geoffrey Zhen, attended Jan 2024: The teacher was funny and witty; and provided a good explanation of how to do every step when you asked him. He was also very good at his craft, and made everything look effortless. Gave great, concise instructions which broke everything down well. The venue was good, with good equipment and clean facilities. The whole experience was great value for money, since you also got to take home any food that was prepared which you did not manage to eat! We learnt how to prepare several dishes from chicken saltimbocca to eggplant parmigiana. It was great fun as well, meeting some new people at the class.
  • 5/5 from Ian Skinner, attended Nov 2023: We had a great time at Taste of Tuscany. Brett was informative and entertaining. The produce we had was high quality - and delicious. The recipes we did were easy enough to follow (with good instruction to help us along), but not too easy - so we had to keep focused to produce a tasty meal for ourselves. You eat exactly what you cook - and we were pretty happy with what we created - as was everyone else. Class sizes are fine and Brett was able to keep a good eye on how we were all doing, and give necessary pointers at the right time. Great fun and good learning.
  • 5/5 from Robin Fahlstrom, attended Oct 2023: Loved the food Brett was an amazing teacher with lots of experience. Received lots of cooking tips as well
  • 5/5 from Michael Langereis, attended Oct 2023: All very good Well organised and fun. Great wine Insight into the Cheif process interesting
  • 5/5 from David Carroll, attended Oct 2023: Brett was a great teacher, explained the why not just the how. Plus his background and story telling were really good as anecdotes throughout the class
  • 5/5 from Jane Qian, attended Oct 2023: Class was great, teacher was great and the food was delicious! The class ran in a timely way and they let us takeaway the leftovers which was lovely. The room did get a little hot but we had water provided!
  • 5/5 from Sarah Bernasconi, attended Sep 2023: Great intimate cooking experience. Brett had lots of knowledge to share, and used humour which made it an informative yet fun experience. Would 100% come back and try some of the other cooking classes.
  • 5/5 from Richard Abbott, attended Aug 2023: Great instructor and a lot of fun! We will definitely be doing another course soon!
  • 5/5 from Evan Douglas, attended Jul 2023: So much more than I could have expected. I thought that it would just be something new to experience, mark it off a bucket list item and just maybe get a few tips in the kitchen. But no, it was so much more. Beside learning some key techniques and learning to cook new foods never attempted before and being able to ask just about any question, if felt more like a social get together with a bit of education thrown in. But the real surprise was at the end, when I found that the food I cooked out most restaurants to shame. Who would have thought, I could cook as good as a chef.
  • 5/5 from Connie Zhang, attended Jul 2023: Great class learning how to cook a number of Italian dishes, with a very tasty and filling meal afterwards!
  • 4/5 from Vladimir Gligorovski, attended Jul 2023: I was in the class for only one had to go but for the time I was there it was nice and relaxing also one of the most interesting classes I’ve been to
  • 5/5 from Laura Reynolds, attended Jun 2023: We had a great experience at the Taste of Tuscany cooking class at Sydney Cooking School. We learned how to make a wide range of Italian dishes, such as Focaccia, Chicken Saltimbocca, Eggplant Parmigiana and Tiramisu. Along the way, our teacher Brett gave us some great general cooking tips and kept it fun and interesting. He was very personable and catered for the range of abilities in the class with encouragement and humour. It was also good to hear about his experiences working in France. At the end, we sat down and ate our creations with some good quality wine and conversation. There was so much food that we had doggie bags to take home! Everything, including ingredients, equipment and wine is provided for you. Overall I found that it was great value for money and I’d highly recommend to anyone, especially those who are craving a trip to Tuscany!
  • 5/5 from Yasmin Sle, attended May 2023: Book this! It was fantastic, great food and best atmosphere. We absolutely loved it! Me and my husband had a great time. The chef was funny and informative.
  • 5/5 from Nicollette Burr, attended Apr 2023: Class was broke down the cooking stages into easy and manageable chunks. The food at the end was really good, and recipies were provided.
