What you'll do

Did you know that the silver bracelet you'll be making in my class has a solid pre-cast heart made from molten sterling silver? It's a symbol of love and connection that you can cherish forever. Join us and learn the art of making a solderless bracelet while forming new friendships along the way!

This is a unique class designed for The Lonely Arts Club, a new way to celebrate Valentine's Day. The Lonely Arts Club is designed to allow you to connect and meet new like-minded individuals in a creative and casual way.

During this beginner's class, you will learn the basics of silversmithing as you craft a solderless bracelet alongside expert jeweller Alvin. The wires to be used for the bracelet are annealed so they can be turned easily by hand on a wooden jig to form the scrolls. You will need to make six scrolls to make a gorgeous long bracelet made of sterling silver.

The core of the bracelet is a solid pre-cast heart made from molten sterling silver with rings attached to join the scrolls. There will also be a set of seven small rings at one end for proper adjustment in wearing the bracelet to hook on to the clasp.

Roll scrolls with loving thoughts of someone special or do so while connecting with someone new. This is an elegant design and unique for all ages.

I like so much to work with my hands since my younger years which made me become skilful in many crafts. I am also knowledgeable in many other crafts which I have done in the past and is still doing them as needed, such as: furniture making, boat building, paddle making, furniture restorations, polishing, wood turning, metal crafts and Tai Chi.

I have a shed/studio where I do my personal works.

I am an active member of Redcliffe Pottery club, North Pine Trade and Foundry club. I learn and share my other skills through these clubs.
I had been in Furniture Making business and is on Jewellery Making at the moment.

In any of my in-person workshops, I welcome NDIS Support Workers to come and sit along for free. If they are interested to join, I insist payment for the workshop.
