Lash out and try your hand at expressive acrylic painting 8 weeks of understanding and action painting about the early modernist movements.

Expressive painting is about developing your own self expression and version of artworks. We delve into the works of master artists to grasp the unique forms of self expression and focal points they aimed to convey. With these insights students get to ‘try on’ that style in order to understand and experiment what they like themselves. Personal interpretation is what it is all about. Creative learning means understanding and appreciating new ways to do something and expressive painting is the action to exercise those new skills.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Over the span of an 8 week evening course, you’ll delve into the most significant art movements of the early 20th century, and actively participate by experimenting with various styles every two weeks, such as acrylic painting on canvas.

Absolutely no prior experience required! Our classes warmly welcome participants of all skill levels. Join us as we introduce you to the world of expressive painting in this exciting new class. All necessary equipment will be provided, just bring along your enthusiasm!

Led by a passionate artist, you’ll delve into the realm of creative exploration, nurturing your imagination, cultivating self-expression, and refining your unique artistic vision. Through interactive activities, multimedia resources, and expert guidance, you’ll develop essential skills for unleashing your creativity. This workshop offers a vibrant social atmosphere, fostering collaboration and connection among fellow adult artists.

Day: Wednesdays, starting from May 8th
Time: 7:00PM – 8:30PM
Instructor: Kristine Ballard, a seasoned art professional, will lead the sessions.
