Artisan Avenue (Jude) was an absolute delight! She’s a wealth of knowledge, patient and professional, and truly passionate about her art form.
My husband and I were able to stay on longer and learnt various tips and techniques from her, which was wonderful. Nothing seems to faze or bother her! We even got to share her beautiful space with her resident chook and we loved that! She was raw, down to earth and the entire class had the chillest vibe. We couldn’t recommend her enough

Thoroughly enjoyed this class. It is very good value and Jude is a generous teacher. I think having done one class with Jude previously, I had a good idea of the options in terms of creating my piece. I will definitely be doing more classes with Jude. The piece is yet to be glazed and fired so the picture is an unfinished piece.

Such a very large platter Sarah. The crack that developed in the wet clay stage opened up again when drying. I doctored it up for a good couple of hours and gave it a 30% chance of survival, but she came through both firings in one piece. The tartan pattern that you pain takingly managed to complete looks divine, well worth the effort and determination. You sure know what you want and will do what ever it takes. So proud of you. I absolutely loved this class! Jude was such a wonderful teacher and I had a lot of fun learning to make pottery. I am very happy with my piece and I can’t wait to see the final product after firing!

What a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. Very entertaining and ended up with what we hope are some stunning pieces - yet to be bisque fired but can't wait to see the final results. Jude, our teacher was very knowledgeable and no question was too silly. Trust us, we asked some pretty silly ones. Loved having Jackie-O the chicken as company, especially to break the ice on arrival with other attendees. Great learning experience and company. Think we might have got hooked on stoneware. Just what we need - another hobby LOL. Also should mention our great teacher has an exhibition in the first 2 weeks of Dec 2023. Put it in your diary - check out the studio and great Chrissie presents.

Wonderful morning! The studio was very well kitted out and my sister and I had everything we needed. Jude was so knowledgable and helpful - she gave advice and facilitated what we chose to make. Whether you’re new to clay or have some experience, it’s a great way to spend a few hours.
