What you'll do
In this fun, hands-on workshop, we are going to cover the fundamentals of food preservation at home, from jars to seasonal fruit and vegetables, through to canning and storage.We'll make a tomato chutney, a stone fruit jam, and a summer pickle, giving you hands-on experience in three different preserving techniques.We’ll discuss seasonal variations and how to swap in different spices, herbs, vinegars, and sugars. Plus, you’ll learn all the essential safety information and leave confident to start filling up your pantry. At the end of the workshop, you will enjoy a Cornersmith plate with plenty of ferments, cheese, and a glass of kombucha.
