What you'll do
Looking for indoor activities that'll help you unwind? Using various techniques and meditation, in this hands-on class, you'll practice and create a beautiful abstract watercolour painting!
If you have some watercolours, brushes and paints around, you will now be able to use them confidently to create your own meaningful paintings as gifts for friends or to decorate your own home.
Contrary to many beginner art classes, we won't be making art from a template. You'll generate your own idea with your teacher's guidance and they'll help you to make it come to life as much as they can.
This is a therapeutic art class that will have you feeling relaxed and re-energised. Every time you look at the art you created, that feeling will come back!

Your teacher
I have always been a painter, a meditator and a teacher, and I love helping people create their own art. I have two degrees in visual arts and I have exhibited worldwide. I also studied meditation and yoga extensively 10 years ago (including trips to India) and over the years I found that using meditation and mindfulness helps to encourage creativity and courage when I use it in my teaching. I have lived in different parts of the world and when I lived in Japan I learned how effective ritual could be and how a meditative frame of mind helps us to focus.
