Chocolate Tempering Class with Ocean View

In this fun and relaxed class, you'll enjoy ocean views while learning to make chocolate.

You'll learn to do hand tempering on marble, which is a traditional french technique. Some of the yummy treats you'll make with your own two hands are a chocolate bar, moulded chocolate, as well as chocolate lollipops with artwork and freckles!

You'll be eating as you go, and each guest will take away a sample bag of items made on the day, as well as a certificate.

This 1.5 hour class covers less theory than our other 3 hour class, and involves more chocolate making. So if you're mostly interested in having a good time and eating/taking more chocolate, this 1.5 hour class is the class for you; in the 3 hour class your fee goes more towards paying for the instruction and theory elements.

We require a minimum number of 6 participants to run the class. Should there not be sufficient numbers the week prior to the class date (unlikely but does happen sometimes), we will contact you to reschedule your booking.

This class is a great idea for a private event (minimum 6 guests). Just use our Requests feature to set up a time. All ages welcome (if you plan to bring little ones, please be sure that you bring along enough adult guests to take care of them).

Please note this class uses milk chocolate (if you book a private class you can also choose from dark or white chocolate).

What to bring
Please wear closed shoes, and bring aprons. Everything else is provided!

Fantastic. Course was interesting - not too much theory and a lot of actually doing. Also loved the benefit of tasting...all afternoon. The end result was amazing - loved my take home bag of goodies.

Be sure to bring along registration info as a back up, seems to be potential gap in booking system.

Amazing experience with a fun teacher who was great with our 3 girls aged 4-7. All you can eat chocolate and learning how to make beautiful treats with practical skills we can apply at home made for one of our best days ever! Very special, highly recommended.

The teacher was great! Very knowledgeable and engaging. The shop had a great atmosphere - quaint and magical with relaxing music. It had double glass doors which opened up to a cute balcony with two small tables and a large grass area looking out onto the water. We were quite late but the teacher managed to fit in our class which was good. We had eight people and everyone managed to get a chance to make chocolate and everyone also got to bring home their own chocolate.
