What you'll do
During this half-day workshop, you will learn everything you need to know to be able to create your very own custom drink and dessert-themed candles.
This is a great workshop to do if you have already done Sheri's beginner candle making workshop and are looking to advance your candle making skills and try your hand at more intermediate candles. If you haven't made candles before do not worry! As this workshop will still cover all the basic you need to know to get started. It's just a bit easier if you already have an understanding of the basics.
Classes numbers are kept small and this workshop only runs ONCE every 3 months, so it is essential to book in advance!

What we'll cover:
- Basic to candle making e.g wick, colour, fragrance, temperature, wax
- Equipment
- Working with different types of wax like Gel, Soy, Paraffin and Beeswax.
- Creating wax embeds to look like real fruit
- Blending different waxes
- How to work with wax to create realistic looking ice cream candle toppers
- How to create a drink inspired candle
- How to make a ice coffee effect with wax
- How to use gel wax to create a syrup looking effect
- How to make ice cubes out of gel wax
- Troubleshooting and how to fix mistakes
- How to design and assemble drink and dessert themed candles
