Join us for an exciting winery tour of the Hunter Valley, where you’ll tantalise your tastebuds with some of Australia’s finest food, wine and spirits. If you’re looking for fun things to do in the Hunter Valley or day trips from Sydney, this ticks all the boxes!
Leaving from either Central or Circular Quay, your tour guide will pick you and your group up in a fully air-conditioned bus, ready to visit the Hunter Valley.
On arrival in the Hunter Valley, we'll pay a visit to three beautiful wineries and a local distillery, where you’ll be given a guided tour by a local expert at each stop - and we’ll even give you a sneak peek behind the scenes at selected locations.
You’ll complete your wine tasting experience with complimentary chocolates and delectable local cheeses, so you can sample the unique flavours of Australia’s first wine region.
As well as spending time wine tasting and enjoying delicious handcrafted produce, you’ll also be able to enjoy a single course lunch with local wine, beer or cider, while overlooking the breathtaking scenery of the Valley.
You'll head back to Sydney with newfound wine knowledge and some wonderful memories!
Departure information:
The tour departs Central (St Laurence Church – 812 George St, Sydney) between 7 am and 7.25 am
The tour departs Circular Quay (The Obelisk, Macquarie Place Park cnr Bridge & Loftus St, Sydney) at 7.45 am
If you are running late, give us a call but please be on time. Your guide will love you for it!
You will return to Sydney at approximately 7.30 pm
Let us know your location choice for pick-up from when booking.
Your guide will inform you of the venue and choice of meals on the day of your tour.
If you have dietary requirements ie. lactose intolerant, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergic to nuts or shellfish etc., we will advise the restaurant and they will cater to your specific requirements. Please let us know when booking.
With more than 150 wonderful wineries in the Hunter Valley, we like to rotate the wineries that we visit. So if you are taking our tour for a second or third time there's a good chance you'll visit completely different cellar doors. However, please get in contact with us if you'd like to know which ones we are visiting on the day of your tour.
The time you arrive back in Sydney will vary due to traffic conditions and variables out of our control.
We are not weather dependent for our tours and therefore will always operate. You are mainly indoors in the warmth and comfort of a winery in the cooler months. In the warmer months, you may have the opportunity to have your wine tasting provided outdoors in the fresh air.
Please note: For larger groups of 12 to 20 people, a $500 charter fee will be charged. For any groups larger than 20, please contact us for charter fee prices.

“At Dave’s, we’re all about showing you local as we love it all; food, drinks, history, and culture. Come explore with us on tour!”
Our philosophy is simple – collaboration. We love bringing people together to taste and experience the craftsmanship of our local producers.
Whether that is on a behind the scenes brewery tour, a walk back in time through our pub culture on a pub walk, or a corporate event – everything we do is about connecting more people to local communities.
In doing so, we are supporting the passions and dreams of those who are bringing to market some of the finest products available and making visitors aware of the toil and strife that goes into producing great drinks and food.
To us, it’s more than the art and science. It’s the stories, the legends, the scars of effort and devotion to doing something different. It’s about connecting people who are passionate about what they produce with those who are equally as passionate about what they consume.
