We loved the class! Amy is very patient and explains everything so clearly. We were really happy with what we made and feel like we now have some good basic skills to practice on and develop. Thanks so much Amy!

Amazing class and teacher I have learnt more in my two 1.5 hour sessions with Aims than I have in the past few years watching tutorials and videos. Aims has taken away a lot of the anxiety I had about using my serger. She is patient, kind, friendly and funny, and the time flew by. Aims was able to take me through the basic functioning and parts of my serger which made it a lot less intimidating. We went through how to thread each of the different needles and loopers and I was able to learn this at a pace that was comfortable for me and where I could take it all in. By the end of the first session I was able to use the machine for the first time in over five years! Our second session was very interesting, because Aims took me through each of the needles and loopers to find that sweet spot where the tension snd stitches on my machine were ideal. These were different than my serger’s manual and there is no way I would have been able to do this so enjoyably on my own! Aims breaks all of the steps down and I had a fantastic time seeing and labelling the different results that different settings gave. I can finally say I know what the serger seam should look like now!
I have booked in for 6 classes and will be doing more as I would like to make a skirt with Aims’ help.
Thanks so much Aims for your kindness and patience Aims
