What you'll do
In this whimsical workshop, you’ll be introduced to the art of pulled string on an 8x10 canvas, using a variety of vibrant yarns and strings enhanced with acrylic paint. The focus will be on creating a colourful masterpiece that will surely brighten any space.
Don’t worry if you’re new to string art – this workshop is designed for children and beginners, providing a laid-back and supportive environment where you can explore your creativity. You’ll learn how to manipulate the strings to form unique shapes and patterns, resulting in a visually captivating artwork to take home.
Throughout the class, you’ll be guided on different techniques to achieve striking results, giving you a chance to experiment with textures and colours in a fun and engaging way. The mix of materials and paints will spark your imagination and bring out your inner artist, leaving you feeling accomplished and inspired by what you can create.

I've been using Cutting Machines for around six years. My first cutting machine was a Silhouette Cameo 2. I then upgraded to a Cameo 3, then a 4 when I did my licensing. I also have a Silhouette Curio, two Rolands and just recently I added the Siser Juliet.
I am a Licensed TJC Silhouette Instructor and an Ambassador for Siser ANZ.
I love creating projects that you can recreate on your cutting machine and I just love teaching.
