In this class, you'll learn to do oil painting and watercolours from still life, or if you have a photo you want to recreate you can use that too

No prior knowledge required
What to bring
No equipment required for the first class unless you want to create a canvas painting straight away - if that's the case, bring a medium sized canvas about 40 cm in size. If you have brushes and paints bring them along, otherwise you can use mine for the first class.

I have been painting and sketching my whole life . I am a self taught but the last few years have studied at Julian Ashton’s art school and more recently the Waverley art school . I focus on still life and portraits in oils , also have recently started on location mostly beach watercolours . I can also give instruction on figure painting . Using various techniques I can help you with getting proportions right with your drawing ,light and tone and being able to see tones . Moving on to painting and colour mixing with oils or acrylics or watercolours. This is perfect for beginners who want to develop their skills . Classes are held in my apartment.
