What you'll do
Continue getting creative with your Cricut skills at this unique Brisbane workshop with Joyce May Designs. In this intermediate-level class, you'll learn how to make your designs using Design Space!
If you haven't already, we recommend you try our beginners class beforehand.
What you'll learn:
- How to make a family monogram design in Design Space.
- How to make a hatch fill design using Design Space using a basic method.
- How to make a multi-layer design using Design Space which allows you to cut different layer vinyls and layer them all together.
What you'll need:
- Laptop with Cricut Design Space installed and has Bluetooth connectivity and access to the Internet (compulsory).
- Alternatively, iPad and Cricut Design Space.
- Cricut Design Space (free download).
- Your creativity, patience and enthusiasm!
You will gain more experience in Cricut Design Space to design and make custom projects!

Your teacher
I live in Brisbane, Queensland Australia with my husband and my 2 beautiful kids. This is my creative outlet during spare time (if I have any!). I love stationary and have done art lessons as a kid but dropped out during my teens with all the busyness happening around me.
I found the Cricut maker by accident when I was browsing during Black Friday. It was a very interesting machine and I have been teaching Cricut classes since November 2020. I have a background in IT and currently work in the CBD. I contribute to Facebook Cricut groups and draw inspiration from social media. I used to teach piano lessons and therefore have a background in teaching.
I ensure you have my fullest attention and that is why my classes will only consist of yourself, or if you wish, including a pal! I include all materials and also the Cricut machine, which allows you to enjoy the class stress-free without worrying what to buy and bring. The Cricut machine is amazing for business, events, personal crafting, etc.
