When I opened the box, I was happy to see the quality of materials provided is excellent. The kit includes everything you need to get started right away, no rummaging for tape or pencils, literally everything is here. The silk had been cut to the right size and even the frame had been taped up ready for me, I was pleasantly surprised by the care that had gone into creating the kits. Speaking of which, a USB is included with tutorial videos on it and I was blown away, the video production quality is absolutely excellent, well edited, multiple camera angles and a summary in note form at the end of the video. Fantastic!

Above all, Kim Michelle Toft is a wonderful teacher, and she seems genuinely committed to passing on her knowledge, and making sure you learn everything you need to know to silk paint on your own. She generously shares her techniques, demonstrates exactly what materials you need and where to source them, etc. I taught myself oil painting a couple of years ago, and learning this stuff was so complicated, having an experienced teacher show you everything is an invaluable gift of knowledge.

And best of all, I had a lot of fun with my silk painting! The designs included are gorgeous and I enjoyed the combination of bright coloured inks and beautiful gold gutta. I found it to be a relaxing experience, and am keen to do more. Highly recommended!

Wonderful! I loved learning about aquatic plants, high quality materials were provided and I feel the class struck the perfect balance between guidance and creative flexibility, resulting in a beautiful finished product. Char is a truly fantastic teacher, a lovely person and generous with sharing her knowledge. She makes sure you know everything you need to make them yourself at home. I always enjoy my workshops here, beautiful and relaxed atmosphere.

It was good, I enjoyed learning the process and using the hot wax to make our designs, cool new skill to learn! I love the way the finished fabric looks, everyone's turned out amazing, and the teacher was very competent and able to teach well. I think the class was a bit overcrowded, not enough work stations/ supplies meant standing around waiting for our turn to use the dye, the flowers design etc but it didn't really matter, just would've appreciated a more relaxing experience!

Great introduction to alcohol inks, got to try a selection lots of different colours and try out techniques with the air blower. I'm glad we got a practice page first, (haha) before moving onto the real thing. I appreciated the advice on how to create our botanical design. The metallic ink was amazing

Enjoyed making my little angels for Christmas, great festive class, everyone was in good spirits.

Loved this class! I was amazed by the ease of working with the silver clay, just incredible. Adding the stones was the fun part :) Shirley is a great teacher, ready and willing to help and offer additional info and advice. Venue is gorgeous (Fleurieu Arthouse) and I have a lovely ring I made to keep forever!

Had a great time making my elephant, the teacher was excellent, demonstrating what to do for each step and ready to help and ask questions along the way. I really appreciated the smaller class size as it meant we could get attention as needed. We even went overtime and were not rushed to finish, which was awesome. I can't wait for my next class! I planted succulents in my elephant and it looks adorable

I really enjoyed this class, have made the sweets several times myself at home and they've always come out well. The teacher was amazing and provided recipe sheets and even shortcut ways to make it as well as the long (traditional) way if you prefer. It was great to be able to try different flavours and I learnt what to specific ingredients to buy to make it myself.

Really fun class, teacher was great and gave good guidance and let me change my mind about the colours i chose (thank you), generous with the resin, had lots leftover and made some little trinkets with. I love how my board turned out, my family are impressed with how good it looks

Amazing class, had an really enjoyable time! Teacher is wonderful and a joy to learn from. Excellent value, got a huge beautiful terrarium to take home. The highlights for me were choosing which plants to put in (we got to pick several from the shop stock, amazing!) and many more provided to take cuttings from, and I liked learning about the springtails, they're so cool. Thank you!

Great, really enjoyed the class learning how to do henna tattoos! Teacher was awesome, we all got some a print out of some designs and paper to practice before going onto our hands. Even brought us tea and delicious snacks! and offered to do a tattoo for us for free. Thanks for the great tips, i feel like I improved a lot! Venue is beautiful, love Botanista and the workshops here. Can't wait to do more tattoos at home

So fun I loved this class, felt like I learned a real new skill. I'd never done mosaic before, there were lots of example lamps to help you pick a design, so many tiles of different colours and shapes to choose from. Venue is lovely with a cosy atmosphere. Excellent value too because you get a beautiful lamp to take home. Would definitely come again!

Great class! The teacher is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and has a lovely personality. Beautiful venue, plenty of moss, soil and plants provided. Good pacing, I never felt rushed and enjoyed a lovely morning surrounded by plants. I feel confident I could make these myself at home with the knowledge I have learned. Having said that I would do this class again because with everything provided it's good value, you get two lovely kokedama to take home.

Wonderful workshop, very enjoyable, fun and engaging teacher, highly recommend! An abundance of beautiful and interesting plants were provided generously, plenty for everyone, amazing value, the wreath you get to take home looks utterly gorgeous. Great festive class for Christmas, loved it !

Excellent class, 10/10, I had a great time! The teachers are so lovely, friendly and I could tell they have a real passion for the plants. It was really fun, nice atmosphere, lots of succulents of all different shapes and sizes and decorations to choose from, and learnt about how to care for them in the process. Nibbles were amazing btw, and now I have a gorgeous Christmas tree full of succulents to enjoy. :D Thanks for the generous gift of extra cuttings too, much appreciated! Merry Christmas
