Everything was very well organised. Few classes were going on simultaneously but the venue is spacious and there were enough young enthusiastic people around to help everyone. Great for socialising as everyone on the table was very friendly.
A welcome drink of our choice on arrival was very nice as well as the grazing box that quite few people ordered.
Everything was explained well, which was great for beginners.
We all made a beautiful coaster and a beautiful resin cheese board to take home.

What a wonderful Italian food and cooking experience this class was! Mata, with her exceptional cooking skills, took us all on a beautiful journey to Italy.
We were all welcomed at her beautiful home with a delicious Pappa al Pomodoro, and cheese, prosciutto, olives platter accompanied with great wine of our choice. Then we learned how to make pasta Pici Cacio e Pepe from scratch, Pork Tonato and the most delicious Tiramisù. What a wonderful day it was enjoying great meals that we cooked, great bunch of people and great wine! We were offered to take home the leftover food. Would definitely recommend this class, as well as our chef Mata for all your occasions, who is one of the greatest Italian chefs here! Thank you!

I have always loved how people transform old furniture into a beautiful piece of art, and I thought it takes a lot of skill and a lot of work to do it. I had an old pot plant table that I hesitated to throw it away thinking that when one day when I get enough skills, I will turn it into a beautiful little table.
Well, Armandie and Anna Marié made all that possible with their extensive knowledge in furniture restoration and painting during their furniture painting class. They take you step by step through the whole process, from preparation, to choosing the right colour, right brushes, right brush strokes and beautiful finising touches. What you will learn is priceless!
Both of them have a wealth of knowledge that unselfishly shared with me during the workshop as well as with their other clients.
When I came home after this amazing workshop I realised that I wanted to give few other pieces of furniture a new life.
One of the best and most valuable workshops I have ever been!

Such a great and exciting experience to create your own perfume! We went through the whole process, we chose the scents we liked, we blended them together and tried few different ratios until we were happy with our very own perfume! How cool it is to go home with your own creation and wear it with pride! Thank you!

Highly recommend booking a cooking class at Otao Kitchen. Everything was so well organised. All ingredients, as well as everything else we needed was on the table. The chef and other staff were amazing. It was easy to follow his instructions, made it very easy for all of us to create beautiful dumplings, coming around often to check how we were doing. Choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. While our dumplings were steaming they served us delicious miso soup. Thank you Otao Kitchen, thank you chef, thank you ClassBento!

Brilliant workshop! Tania is a great teacher, and we all had a wonderful evening creating candles and enjoying the fresh food hamper and Prosecco. Can't wait to burn my handmade candles on a cosy evening. Having participated in few workshops over the past years I would say this one was one of the best for not only the experience on the day, but also the “take away” of 3 beautifully scented candles plus lots of small heart shaped ones from the leftover wax.
We left with great knowledge of how to make beautiful scented candles as well as with the knowledge of where to find good quality products, and how to be health and safety aware.
Can't wait to go back and make more candles with different scents.

The best sourdough workshop! Tamara prepared everything step by step, so it would be easier for everyone to understand, starting with the process of making a starter, maintaining it, preserving it if we are away from two weeks to a year, then the step by step making and baking the bread. Then we made delicious focaccia. We also had a chance to learn how to utilise the sourdough starter discard making the most delicious savoury scones, and granola that we were served in a cup as dessert. I loved the lunch, barley soup with homemade sourdough bread crumbs and cheese, lots of varieties of sourdough, baguettes and focaccia, various delicious cheeses, made by Tamara, ripe figs, and the real treat was the home made quince paste and great choice of white, rose and pinot noir wines. There were also other light refreshments, tea, coffee, cake great food, great experience, great venue, and lots of printed step by step information to take home. Thank you Tamara, thank you ClassBento!

I believe the class and the teacher are great. The occasion was my birthday. The venue is in the Sorrento Community centre within walking distance to great restaurants and cafes.
The double class is a great value for money.

The studio is in one of the most beautiful parts of Melbourne deep into the rainforest of Dandenong Ranges, and the views are to die for. That was the first impression. I was greeted by Tatiana as soon as I got out of car. Then the real impression, and the big WOW came as soon as I entered her beautiful home with the most exquisite silk paintings on the walls, as well as in her beautiful studio. I was offered delicious tea. I must admit I have never ever seen anything as beautiful, and delicate as her paintings. A true artist, and a wonderful person too. The class was very well organised with lots of beautiful patterns to choose from. Tatiana explained the whole process well which made the whole experience much easier and more enjoyable. We had lunch break, and then continued with the painting. I like when an artist helps me a bit if I struggle with something new, and Tatiana selfishly helped me finish my scarf. I couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out. It's my first attempt, can't wait to go back and develop more silk painting skills. Thank you Tatiana, thank you ClassBento!

It was a great experience. The teachers are great and very helpful. I have never done it before, and I was a bit slow, but Jess offered to help to finish my project which I found to be extremely kind of her. Having a bit of experience from today's class, I am looking forward to do another rug class soon. I would also love to mention that all projects looked great. Thank you very much!

What a lovely venue surrounded by beautiful plants for the bonsai workshop. Great choice of trees and pots to do our bonsai. The teacher was really, really kind, knowledgeable, caring, all the time around, and helping us all with his advice, which I appreciated it a lot. Bonsai is a personal experience but having a knowledgeable and helpful teacher made the whole experience much better.
Thank you, can't wait to do another bonsai tree.

It was such an amazing class and an amazing experience! Learned three new techniques all with great demonstration by our awesome teacher Annette!
Can't wait for the pieces to dry so I can pick them up, and hang my own art on the wall!

What a great experience inside Chef Jacqui's beautiful home!
She brought France on our plates unselfishly sharing all the tips and secrets of French cuisine. We learnt how to cook scallops with saffron butter, crispy duck breast with fig glaze, cauliflower & apple puree, potato fondant & string beans, and for the dessert we made crepes Suzette with vanilla ice cream! What a feast, what a treat!

It was a great and very well organised workshop. Great atmosphere, great teacher who explained step by step process of arranging the dried flowers. There was a great selection of dried flowers.

Great and very informative workshop. I was fascinated with the whole experience as I never knew that a lot of healthy botanicals were used in gin making. We all had a lot of botanicals in front of us to choose in order to make our very own, and unique taste of gin. A very warm welcome by the teacher, and her assistant, we enjoyed tasty cheese and fruit platters, accompanied by the very unique flavours of their own gin. 10 out of 10 for the whole experience!
We all had time to ask questions, and Liz did her best to answer all our questions, and satisfy our curiosity. Thank you very much for this great experience!

Amazing experience, amazing studio, all materials provided, and should anyone want to continue paint pouring at home they would be spoiled for choice of paints and other materials, as everything is on-site at their shop. Anna-Marie is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge that she unselfishly shares with her students. Looking forward to the next class to explore new techniques.

It was a great class, beautiful lamps were created, plenty of colours, and precut mosaic glass shapes, and beads provided so we don't have to cut anything. Great for kids too.
Semra is a great teacher, and very patient with all of us. I have already booked my next class. I discovered that the studio also teaches silk painting, jewellery making and other forms of art.
