What you'll do
Are you a competent seamstress looking for unique things to do in Cedar Creek? Join us for the ultimate craft workshop and learn how to make these beautiful felt gifts for you or your loved ones!
Guided by Karen from Zenzero Design, you'll learn how to feel more mindful and embrace the practice of slowing down. Karen is passionate about reducing our carbon footprint and strives to reuse, recycle and re-purpose whenever possible.
In this hands-on workshop, you will create your own felt storage tub. Karen will guide you step by step through the assembly process, how to stitch the tub panels together, how to construct the interior felt pocket including the fabric trim, attach the fabric trim to the tub and how to attach the leather handles using the hardware provided.
The venue for this workshop is The Yarn Shed at Cedar Creek, just 15 minutes from Samford. It is the home of Yarn Creative and is a fabulous purpose-designed workshop space. Specific directions for The Yarn Shed will be sent to each student upon booking. Afternoon tea will be provided.
At the end of the class, return home with your completed felt storage tub as well as a kit containing all you'll need to make more DIY projects!

Must be a competent seamstress and familiar with a sewing machine. This is NOT a learn to sew workshop and we won't be going over the basics in this class.
