What you'll do
In this captivating workshop, you will delve into the world of Kiln Fired Vitreous Enamelling on Copper, learning the fundamental techniques needed to add vibrant colour and personality to your jewellery creations. You’ll have the opportunity to create a pair of earrings or a pendant as you familiarise yourself with this art form.
Don't worry if you're a beginner - this workshop is designed to ease you into the process, making it approachable and enjoyable. With a maximum of two participants, you’ll receive personalised guidance and hands-on experience throughout the session. Safety is always of the utmost importance, and all the safety requirements will be covered as part of the session.
- Discover the basics of Vitreous Enamelling on Copper
- Learn about materials, equipment, and surface preparation
- Explore various firing techniques to kick-start your creative journey
Throughout the workshop, you will gain practical knowledge and confidence in enamelling, allowing you to express your unique style through jewellery making. By the end of the session, you will leave with newfound skills and a handmade piece to treasure.
Knowledge required
No knowledge or skills provided, but we will be working with intense heat so safety precautions MUST be adhered to.

I’m a jeweller by trade, but have so much passion for learning new things, that I then love to teach and share my knowledge. I have a beautiful studio located in the Iconic Nicholas Building in Melbournes CBD. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine art Gold and Silversmithing, a Cert IV in training and assessment, am a member of NAVA and a Fellow of the Gold and Silversmiths Guild of Australia.
