Learn how to use your Cricut cutting machine by using Cricut vinyl materials in this one-off class.

Who knew the world of vinyl material was so vast? Learn how to use your Cricut machine to make fabulous vinyl designs at our Inner Sydney workshop.

Through this course, you'll get up to speed on:

  • The difference between Cricut vinyl materials, how to choose the right one for your project, and what tools you need to work with it.
  • Skills and techniques that will make working with vinyl simple and fun.
  • Tips and tricks for using your Cricut cutting machine with vinyl material.
  • Learn how to work with fonts, text, and images in Cricut Design Space.
  • Learn how to group, attach, kern, adjust space, and weld letters and words in Design Space.

By the end of the class, you will have cut and applied a single-layer vinyl name for a drink bottle, a multi-layer vinyl decal for a mug, and a more intricate vinyl design for a notebook or phone case.


Knowledge required
To try this class you should complete our Cricut Class: Getting Started with Cricut or know the basics of Design Space.

What to bring
  • Laptop or tablet with Design Space downloaded and installed, and your chosen Cricut Machine.
  • A materials list will be provided upon enrollment.
