What you'll do
There's almost nothing better than drinking your morning cuppa from a handmade mug! So, why not join Handmaker's Factory for this fun three-hour workshop in which you will learn how to hand-build and decorate your very own mug.
During this workshop, which is perfect for beginners, you will form a mug and add a handle using the slab technique and templates.
You will then decorate your mug using glaze and a variety of decorating techniques such as:
- StampingÂ
- Paper stencil resist
- Sgraffito
- Texturing
- Slip decorating
All materials and tools are provided for you on the day. Please wear clothing you don't mind getting messy in.
Please note: Your final pieces will be fired after the workshop and can be collected from the studio or arranged to be posted for an additional cost.
