In this exciting workshop, you will learn the basics of ceramic painting while enjoying your favourite drink and snacking on cheese. No prior experience is necessary – our friendly instructor, Micheila, is here to walk you through every step.
Pick from a vase, mug, or dessert plate and let your ideas come to life with our selection of quality glazes. Imagine your masterpiece or take inspiration from our curated designs suited to various tastes and abilities.
Meet your instructor:
Micheila Petersfield is a professional artist working out of Le Studio Art Space. Having held numerous exhibitions and recently completing her PhD in fine arts, Micheila brings a wealth of expertise to the class.
Drawing from her teaching background at the University of Tasmania, she is an enthusiastic mentor, guiding you in painting your unique ceramic piece.

Welcome to McCanless Pottery! We are a creative clay space located within the Le Studio Art Space and Gallery in beautiful beachside Mordialloc, Victoria.
We enthusiastically offer fun filled instruction in wheel throwing, hand building, sculpting, and ceramic brush decoration in addition to our kiln firing services and our classes for kids, formulated to unleash your child’s unique creative talents.
