What you'll do

Discover the wonderful world of ceramics in our exciting pottery class! This hands-on experience will teach kids how to create beautiful clay masterpieces from scratch. No prior experience? No worries! Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will guide you through each step, ensuring that you feel confident and inspired throughout the class.

In this engaging workshop, your child will learn the essentials of pinching and shaping clay, with the opportunity to paint their piece during the workshop! This is an opportunity to get creative, whether it's a bowl, mug, or figurine. We're here to support your little one to create. The joy of seeing their finished creations is sure to bring a smile to their faces!

Using high-quality clay and a vibrant array of underglaze paints, your little artist will embark on a truly immersive experience. They will be encouraged to explore their creativity, experiment with different colours and textures, and let their imagination run wild. This hands-on activity will not only enhance their artistic skills but also foster their self-expression and confidence.

At the end of the pottery class, we will let their artwork dry, then we will glaze and fire it. In 4-6 weeks, their unique piece will be ready to be picked up. Your child will proudly walk away with their handmade masterpieces to treasure forever.

Air, owner of Airr Made Ceramics, is a local ceramist and owner of Market Studio. A creative space where she handcrafts her ceramics and features other local artists.

Airr Made Ceramics focuses on functional pieces that represent the earthy tones and textures of nature. And is all about recycling, reusing and lifelong pieces with a place in our daily lives.
