Learn silversmithing basic techniques at this casual metal earring workshop in West End and return home with a beautiful pair of earrings, made entirely by you!

This workshop will provide everything needed to make a pair of dangle earrings to take home on the day, which includes designing your unique pair of earrings, using an assortment of pre-cut metals with the option to create your shapes using the silversmithing tools.

The workshop begins with a 5-minute grounding session, then a small tool introduction. You'll then be shown step-by-step the process of creating a completed pair of earrings.

Everything is provided for the workshop, including:

  • Copper, brass, and aluminium sheet metal, pre-cut.
  • Ethically sourced Sterling Silver for the wire.
  • A small selection of upcycled beads.
  • Examples of what you can make.
  • A key ring made from your practise metal.

As you learn how to make jewellery, enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and conversation with your fellow students. This silversmithing workshop is great for romantic date ideas or small and intimate get-togethers with friends. Everyone will be amazed at what they can create in just a few hours!

We keep our workshop numbers small to ensure one-on-one assistance and to maintain a relaxed vibe.

VENUE
This workshop is held in the centre of West End, just walking distance from the hustle and bustle of Boundary Street but in a quiet backstreet, so we hear the birds chirping as we work.

The workshop is in a trendy West End artsy Queenslander house (converted into a commercial property) with on-street parking. We are kept cool by a beautiful cross breeze.

Please Note: There is a small sign on the front of the house; it looks like a residential house but is a commercial property.

Don't fancy making earrings? No problem! The same techniques can be adapted to create a pendant, brooch, or wall-hanging. Let your creativity run wild!

Discover the joy of jewellery making and take home a beautiful piece of wearable art. This workshop promises to be a memorable experience that will empower you to create stunning jewellery. Trust us, you'll love what you can achieve!
