Want to celebrate Mother's Day making something special? Learn silversmithing basic techniques at this casual pierce sawing and metal shaping workshop.

What will you do at this workshop? You'll be shown step-by-step the process for creating your flower earrings.

1. Enjoy a relaxing 5-minute grounding session.
2. Be shown how to hand-saw a flower out of copper. (you can choose from templates provided or draw your own)
3. You will learn how to:
i. Saw metal
ii. Mark and texture metal
iii. Shape and file metal
iv. Finish and polish metal
v. Assemble your earrings

Everything is provided for the workshop, including:

  • Copper, brass and aluminium sheet metal
  • Ethically sourced Sterling Silver for the ear-wire
  • Inspiration images
  • A piece of practice metal
  • Use of tools, including jeweller's saw
  • 5 saw blades (extra blades at an additional cost)

To celebrate Mother's Day, enjoy tea, coffee and light snacks while you work.

We keep our workshop numbers small to ensure one-on-one assistance and to maintain a relaxed vibe with the intention of a mindful workshop.
