Pasta Emilia is founder Anna Maria Eoclidi’s tribute to the gastronomic traditions of her home in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. In the making for centuries, it's a restaurant, cooking school and certified organic food lab producing fresh pasta and sauces. Drawing from our rich history, we look forward to this century dedicated to celebrating the clean and responsible provenance of our ingredients. For us, good food, great organic produce and celebrating life’s special moments is in our blood, and we can’t wait to share it all with you.

It was great, I enjoyed making my own pasta, but like what the other reviews have said all of the pastas get mixed together in which can be uncomfortable for people to eat as I wanted to eat the pasta I created. I like how Emilia helped everyone make their own pasta, she’s a very helpful teacher.

We really enjoyed the class, knowledge imparted, and service after the class :) The teacher could project his voice more though, and it would have been nice to be served the gnocchi my partner and I made, rather than someone else's - but can understand this probably makes things tricky in the kitchen. It would definitely improve the experience if this was possible though!

I had the best day ever during Ana Maria's pasta making class!
Whilst I've made my own pasta before, I picked up some great tips and tools that I've already tried out at home (and my family is happy!).
I would highly recommend this class to everyone who's interested in making their own pasta - I'm already looking at booking a gnocchi making class :-)

Teacher was very knowledgeable. However as my fettuccini started to collapse after setting for so long, she just smooshed it into a ball and gave it to someone else to redo. Disappointed that I couldn’t redo it again for practice. Heads up to everyone that even though you get to eat the pasta at the end, it’s not just yours that you eat. They put all the pastas together that everyone made. This turned off some of the members of my group so they didn’t eat any.

The pasta making experience and teacher were both great.
None of us felt comfortable eating Pasta which was made by a whole group of people we didn’t know - so our plates were left full and bellies empty. Would have been better if we were able to eat out own creations. Website also stated we would receive a pasta sauce to take home and venue said this is no longer the deal.

This class was terrific. Anna Maria is a passionate and experienced pasta maker who loved explaining both pasta techniques and the history and origins of everything we were taught. We made a range of different pasta including ravioli tortellini plus various pasta shapes and colour techniques.
I attended with a girlfriend and we both love the class even though we have previously made pasta there was something to learn. We later ate our pasta with some lovely sauces which were cooked for us and was delicious. There was even some fresh pasta packs to take home.
I would recommend this course and would certainly do it again with more friends.

The gnocci class was great. The class is held in a cooking classroom at the back of the restaurant, with plenty of room for at least 10 people. It’s hands on cutting, grinding, peeling, mashing and cooking in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We learned how to make gnocci with 3 different sauces which we got to enjoy after class. You learn so much about Italian cuisine with plenty of tips and tricks to take home. It’s a lovely way to spend at Saturday morning/lunch and will be back to enjoy the restaurant with friends. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Italian pasta. Loved it!

I definitely recommend attending one of Ana's classes on how to make pasta.

The set-up is great: you're all around one big table where Ana explains how to make pasta. You then get to do it yourself on equipment provided.

In the end, Ana clocks your pasta with a nice sauce and you get to eat your own produce with a beautiful glass of wine, made on Ana's farm.

Money well spent on an enjoyable couple of hours.

A group of 3 of us attended this class to celebrate a hens occasion. Pasta Emilia, where the class was held, was absolutely charming and transported us to Italy. Aprons are provided so you don't have to turn your house upside down trying to find one like I stupidly did!

The teacher was lovely, very approachable and sweet - no airs or judgement which was thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. It was more of a teamwork environment where all class attendees do different parts of the prep, so some on potato peeling and ricing, some on sauce making, so not everyone gets a chance to learn every aspect, which I think could be changed. Everyone does get there own actual gnocchi to make which was extremely fun and insightful - a great, learning experience. When cooked up for us, each gnocchi variation was divine and tasted wonderful (coming from someone with high food standards!) - salad was so fresh and delicious too. The gnocchi came out pillowy soft and tasty. Although expensive, we thought this class was so fun and interesting - thoroughly enjoyed.

The class itself was fun and knowledgeable. However, we paid for 3 tickets and after the class we only got 1 pasta to take home instead of 1 each and we also didn’t get our free sauce. Very disappointing and misleading!

Was a really fun class done by the lovely Italian teacher at the restaurant :)
We learnt a lot about pasta, it's origin, and of course, how to make it.
It was super easy, and the end result was super yummy!
It was also paired with salad and wine.
I highly recommend this experience for anyone, my partner and I loved it.

Incredible class! The restaurant itself looked so authentic. Our host was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. She walked us through the history of her hometown and showed us a demonstration of how to make the pasta from scratch. We then got to have a turn at mixing, rolling, kneading and cutting shapes from our pasta dough. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our first pasta making experience. The food ended up tasting delicious! Looking forward to coming back here again!

The class was held in a great Italian restaurant and the teacher was knowledgeable, friendly and very supportive. We had fun and also learned how to make fettuccine and tortellini! Then they were cooked and we had a meal of the pasta we all made! Served with a glass of wine. We were also given a little goody-bag with some of their pasta and pasta sauce to take with us. Well worth the cost of the class. Thank you!

Delightful instructors and very enjoyable class. The making part of the class felt a little rushed, which was a shame only because we ate our pasta and finished our meals with plenty of time to spare (almost a whole hour early). Would have enjoyed a little on a quick and easy sauce or inside to the ravioli. Maybe next time? Nonetheless, I would take this class again with friends for a very pleasant and delicious activity! Thank you.

The class is really good value for money. Anna and Fabio were great teachers, hands-on and clearly passionate about making pasta. We were taught to hand-roll and make two types of pastas. And later the chefs whipped up a great lunch with the pastas we had made. A really fun way to spend a Saturday arvo with friends or your partner!

Enjoyable and informative class.
teacher and chef very passionate and friendly. Generous with sharing their cooking tips and recommendations.
My son aged 11 was made to feel welcome and very much enjoyed the experience.
Lunch was slow to be served and extended the class by 2 hours. It would have been good to know this beforehand to avoid the parking ticket I received!
