The foundations of all our artists’ interests in Makeup Artistry stems from their education and training at the elite Serge Louis Alveraz (SLA) Academy. Having spent over a year training and acquiring two certifications from an academy that pride themselves on European french makeup artistry provided an excellent platform to develop a truly sophisticated and elite style of make up.

Pencil & Brush’s motto for makeup Artistry is not only about following current trends, colours and styles, yet it’s the ability to recognise a person’s characteristics and the ability to analyse them and then use specific colours and textures of make up as well as techniques, to enhance their natural features; creating that flawless and timeless look in front of the camera and in person.

We accomplish that by tailoring our makeup artistry to each of our client’s personal style, detailed facial analysis and finally and most importantly through collaboration of the artist and client ideas.
