5.0 (40)Hi, I’m Leanne, artist and creator of Raindrop Creations based in Northwest Sydney, NSW.
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved to create - to make beautiful pieces from anything I could get my hands on, to play with colour, get messy and lose myself in the joy. Creating energises me and soothes me all at once and I love to share my passion for creating with others.
Over the years I've undertaken numerous courses and workshops and have enjoyed building my skills. I've been lucky over the past 18 years I’ve had the pleasure of teaching art and crafts on and off to adults and children in various settings.
I provide workshops in Alcohol Ink Painting, Metal Embossing and Jewellery Making in my home studio in Riverstone. My studio is a place you can come to relax, have a laugh and enjoy learning new skills or practising old ones.
The workshops are an opportunity to get together with friends, meet new people or just enjoy some ‘you’ time, while you learn and create in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

I had a great time. Leanne was very personable and presented a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Leanne was more than helpful and happy to demonstrate or answer any of our questions. The studio was light, airy and well equipped. Everything was provided and more items were there if we needed. An added bonus was the delicious morning tea.

Thoroughly enjoyed this class. Leanne was very patient and informative. She taught us different techniques to create our alcohol ink artwork. One of my favourite techniques was putting alcohol ink on a ceramic tile and setting it on fire! All materials are provided. We even got a piece of delicious chocolate cake, tea and/or coffee. Definitely recommend this class.

My girfriend booked this for me for my birthday and I had an absolute blast. I would've easily spent a few more hours if Leanna didn't shoo us away for her next batch. She is an incredible teacher and her garage turned workshop area is phenomenal. We walked away feeling so inspired to do more of Alcohol ink!

Leanne is an creative, encouraging, patient and talented teacher. Leanne showed me multiple techniques so that I am able to experiment at home. Even let me work on my own projects. I enjoyed learning a new craft. Thank you for a wonderful class. Highly recommend.

What a great class, the teacher is knowledge and passionate and multi talented. The instructions were easy to follow. The teacher encouraged to experiment and be creative. Thank you for a very fun and enjoyable class. Highly recommend.

Great teacher, lots of different beads to choose from, went away with the newly acquired skills that I need to make a range of bracelets, earrings and necklaces.
Great value for money and had a thoroughly enjoyable Saturday morning.

I have totally enjoyed this series of six lessons, enabling me to explore my tools and supplies (which I have hoarded over many years!) with the generous help of Leanne, who is a wonderful host and teacher. We have covered many techniques, including painting on ceramic tiles using fire (yes, fire!), learning to 'control' alcohol ink to produce very interesting backgrounds, petals and flowers by using a hairdryer and also airbrush with compressor. Leanne has an incredibly inspirational studio, which features all sorts of creative genius beyond alcohol ink and I always feel at home there. It was fantastic value for money and I can't wait for Saturday to come around each week. This group of 'strangers' are now my friends! Thoroughly recommended :)

I had a fantastic afternoon with Leanne and felt I learnt so much from her. She knows so many tips and tricks and gave a lot of valuable info. I would highly recommend this course at Rainbow Creations if you are interested in the basics and more of alcohol links.

This was amazing! Leanne is a very nice teacher and does everything she can to make you enjoy her class. All the tools and material you need is provided and you can just try out and play around with everything you like. She even gave me a lift to the train station after the class (which went on for much longer than 3hours, because we all enjoyed it so much), and her mum's carrot cake is delicious!

I have just got back from a fabulous day with Leanne! I have been wanting to try alcohol ink for so long and so glad this is where I tried it, just wish I did it sooner.
Leanne is such a beautiful person. Leanne’s kind and caring nature shone through and this coupled with her passion for her art really helped the experience. Her purpose built “craft castle” (im extremely jealous of) and her mum’s amazing carrot cake made this day for us girls one to remember. We felt so relaxed the time flew by so fast that the class had actually finished and that didn’t bother Leanne that we were still trying all the many techniques we’d learnt. Not only is the day informative for beginners, but such a wonderful day with lots of supplies included and even a choice of frame to fame one of your “masterpieces”. Thanks again for a wonderful day… can’t wait to come back for more

Everything in this class was amazing. The teacher was absolutely fabulous. Her studio is simply amazing. Best class ever. Would highly recommend. It was such fun to watch the ink and alcohol disperse on the paper and create such unique effects. Can’t recommend this class highly enough

Amazing experience if you've never done this course before. For me it's my first time. Well equipped with materials that you can freely use to explore your flare. Coffee/tea and other goodies also provided. Class was presented well and had plenty of time to experiment. Take home your own artwork and frame it up! Would highly recommend for those who enjoy this kind of thing. Thumbs up
