I learnt the art of Lebanese cooking from my mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I love to teach, cook and eat Lebanese food.

I have published two cookbooks titled Tayta’s Lebanese Kitchen and Tayta’s Lebanese and Mediterranean Kitchen. I was also a contestant on the Great Australian Bake Off Season Four.

I would love everyone to come and learn to cook and enjoy the flavour of Lebanon!

Sue is just delightful. She is an amazing cook (and an even better teacher!)

She explained everything in thorough detail, made sure everyone had a chance to participate in cooking, and shared her handy hints and skilled insight along the way. She is down to earth, friendly, and has a great sense of humour.

After cooking we sat down as a group to enjoy all the great food we had made. Sue also gave us takeaway containers to take some food home. My favourite part of the day was listening to Sue's life stories during mealtime. I felt like I was back at my grandmothers house!

I came to this class solo, and felt so comfortable and welcomed. It really is an amazing experience and I cannot recommend it enough!

The host was incredibly friendly and so kind. It felt like learning cooking with your grandmother who has known you all your life. The food was great, we left very full, with extra to take home.

Wow! What a wonderful experience learning and eating 5 dishes that was made. Sue is super nice and makes you feel like you are at your favourite Aunty’s house! Generous amount of food, step-by-step guide and we also given recipes to take home. Loved every minute of it and highly recommend! Thanks Sue x

SUE lebanese cooking class was excellent. Sue was so kind and very friendly and funny , she is full of knowledge, she make us feel at home, the place is well set up , clean and comfortable, I now know how to make lebanese sweets stuffed with dates and nuts, Tabouli,Hummus, kibben,and stuffed grape leaves reciple. We had lunch together all that we cooked and took some left over at home. I definitely recommend it to everyone to go to Sue she is the best. I am going to do more classes with Sue . My sisters and I took our dad to this class to learn how to make some of the Lebanese dishes he remembered and loved from his childhood - he absolutely loved this trip down memory lane! Sue made us feel so welcome, it really was like learning to cook from your grandma! We spent the afternoon having wonderful chats, the food was delicious, and it was a great opportunity to spend some quality time as a family. Couldn't recommend this class more!

Sue was an incredible host! We had the best time learning to make a variety of Lebanese foods which tasted just like my Tayta used to make! At the end we got to enjoy the feast of foods we made and we even got to take some home. Sue was so hospitable and had a vast array of knowledge to share with us all, and we look forward to coming back another time.

The teacher, Sue, was absolutely terrific! She was extremely knowledgeable and engaged us all during the afternoon of cooking and eating!
The venue was fabulous - well set out and beautiful.
All materials - food utensils, aprons - were provided - sensational!
The experience was fantastic value for money - definitely well worth it!
We cooked 5 Lebanese vegetarian dishes - learnt the all important small things that you can only get from a live cooking demonstration!
Loved it all - maybe especially Sue! Also bought her marvellous cookbook!

I took my partner to the class as a birthday gift and we both loved it. Sue was a great teacher, very patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Lebanese food. Sue is a warm and inviting person and we felt welcome and comfortable in her home. Everything necessary was provided, we made a range of different dishes, and the food was delicious! We’ll be back :)

This class went beyond expectation!
Tayta is a magnificent host, very knowledgeable in all things Lebanese cuisine, history, and travel.
Tayta provided all the ingredients and encouraged us to get involved every step of the process.
Highly recommend this class, even if you don't feel confident cooking, Tayta will make you feel at ease.
Most importantly, the food was exceptional! Some of the best Lebanese food I've ever tasted.

My wife and I took the class and it was beyond fantastic! Sue was very passionate about making the experience both informative and enjoyable. Went here with my husband for our wedding anniversary. Sue is so much fun and made our day so memorable! Having the class in her beautiful sunny home made the experience even better. The best most fresh ingredients were used, with some picked fresh from her garden. Definitely value for money. I loved learning about those Lebanese home cooking secrets and will definitely cook with these tips and tricks at home to take our home Lebanese cooking to the next level. I also really liked that Sue’s recipes were healthier so you can cook it throughout the week with no guilt! Such a beautiful Saturday spent learning and having fun, topped off with a lovely social lunch with everyone in the class. Lots of laughs and memories made. Could not recommend this class highly enough! Thank you so much Sue! You are such a joy to be around! My husband and I can’t wait to be back in the near future!
