Ceramic Mug and Spoon Making Workshop

Create a ceramic mug and spoon using earthenware clay!

4 hours Class size 1 to 10

label $69 (or 4 payments of $17 Afterpay)

If you are looking for unique things to do in Perth why not try out this fun ceramics workshop with Moody Rabbit.

Using the slab building method, you will learn how to construct your very own personalised mug and spoon set. After your designs have been shaped, you will then paint and glaze them using your own design.

The final product will be a mug that is approximately nine centimetres high with a handle and matching spoon.

Throughout the workshop, you will learn the basics of clay, different firing types and the clay we will be using on the day. You will also learn the importance of using slip and how it can be used to construct your pieces.

We will need approximately four hours to complete the pieces to a standard that is ready for kiln firing. You will be able to collect your fired works two weeks after the class.
