What you'll do
Sink your hands into something new with Hannah from Moody Rabbit at this cute, quaint, ceramic mushroom-making workshop! These mushrooms are super cute and perfect for your garden. They are waterproof and will last you years!
In this beginner's workshop, you will be guided through the basic process of making your own mushrooms from scratch by expert ceramicist Hannah. You will learn about the slab building method, we will look at making them stand upright and you will get hands-on making up to 3 large 'shrooms' for your garden.
Hannah will also give you tips on creating unique designs using texturing techniques, scraffito, coloured paint and glazes before you learn how to prepare your piece for firing.
These mushrooms are so adorable, they can sit in your own garden, a plant pot or somewhere else you have in mind! They will stand out as a feature in any garden!
Get in touch with your creative side and unwind in this relaxing ceramic workshop, it's one of the best things to do in Perth!
Note:
- Collection of your pieces will be two weeks after the class.
- After the firing process, Hannah will secure some bamboo wire in place to help them stand upright.
