Embark on a delightful journey into the world of crafting with our children's beginner sewing class! At our studio, we believe in the power of crafting to nurture essential skills and foster creativity in young minds.
Why Sewing Matters: Crafting isn't just about making things; it's about fostering concentration, patience, and fine motor skills. Through sewing, children develop these skills while also expressing their imagination and creativity.
What to Expect: In this dynamic and immersive class, older participants will delve into the art of sewing as they design and create their own unique felt creatures. We will of course have ready patterns for those who need, students can choose from various patterns like cats, bears, koalas, and rabbits. From sketching out designs to selecting fabrics and mastering intricate stitching techniques, they'll have the opportunity to bring their imaginative visions to life under the guidance of skilled instructors.

Knowledge required
This is a technical workshop. Anyone with enthusiasm for making books and sewing is welcome to join in. No experience is necessary, but the workshop requires the use of sharp instruments, and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.Drop off for the morning session is from 9am, and pick up by 1pm.
Drop off for the afternoon session is from 1pm, and pick up by 5pm.
If you have signed onto both classes, we will supervise an hour’s lunch from 12:30pm - 1:30pm. Please bring a nut-free packed lunch, drink bottle, and hat as we shall be lunching at the nearby park.
Older students booked from age 16+ are welcome to make their way for lunch and, with consent from parents, are able to arrive and leave on their own accord. A text message shall be sent to parents on the student’s arrival and departure.
Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before booking as a refund is not permitted for a change of mind.
