Through a series of stamping exercises, you'll explore techniques to enhance your skills, experiment with shapes, colours, and overprinting to create unique compositions. Learn how to gather inspiration and fill your sketchbooks with Isabelle's expert guidance.
During the workshop, you'll:
Create your own stamp designs
Explore colour theory, ink mixing, and colour testing
Prepare your sketchbook for printing
Print on paper and book cloth

Knowledge required
This is a technical workshop, anyone with enthusiasm for making books and sewing is welcome to join in. No experience is necessary, but the workshop requires a certain level of capability and confidence in using sharp instruments, and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.
What you'll get
Suitable for complete beginners, this workshop includes tea, coffee, and biscuits. All materials and tools are provided. You can purchase your own set of lino cutting tools and some rubber blocks to continue your new passion.
