What you'll do
Join this natural cold process soap making workshop in Melbourne!
This hands-on experience is perfect for beginners and eco-conscious individuals. It will teach you how to make your own 100% natural soap using the traditional cold-process method.
The workshop will begin with a comprehensive introduction to the equipment and materials required for soap making, emphasising affordability and sustainability. You'll learn to source these items responsibly, ensuring a planet-friendly approach to your soap making.
Your instructor will then guide you through a detailed demonstration of mixing and preparing your soap base. You'll witness the process of combining oils, lye (made from caustic soda), and other key ingredients to create a luxurious soap from scratch.
After the demonstration, it's your turn to explore your creativity! You can choose from various essential oils, colours and gentle exfoliants to customise your soap to perfection. The possibilities are endless, whether you prefer a soothing lavender scent or a refreshing citrus burst.
At the end of the workshop, you'll take home your personalised soaps and detailed instructions on how to complete the curing process at home.
