In this workshop you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to create unique and personalised lampshades that add a touch of style and individuality to any space.
Learn how to measure the dimensions of your lampshade frame accurately. Master the techniques for applying your fabric to the lampshade PVC and how to affix it to the rings to ensure a long-lasting finish. Understand the importance of precision to achieve a seamless and professional finish.
We supply all materials and tools on the day (except fabric).
You should bring your preferred fabric for customisation (approximately 1 metre x 40/50cm). Quilting-weight cotton works best. For larger prints, you may want to bring along a larger piece of fabric to select the best part of the pattern to fit your shade.
You will make and take home a 25cm diameter x 25cm high drum lamp shade.
No prior experience or skills are necessary.

What to bring
Please bring along your own medium weight cotton fabric (at least 1m x 40cm), you made need to purchase extra fabric for large prints to consider the print placement. Quilting weight cotton works best.
