What you'll do

These sessions will be split into four classes in total. By the time you complete these classes you will be able to introduce yourself in Japanese, answer basic questions such as your age, occupation, etc, and have a basic grasp of the culture. In order to do this you will need dedication to learning as you will need to ideally learn hiragana and katakana within a set period of time in order to maximize the efficiency of the classes. Each class will focus on a different aspect of the language as follows:

1: An introduction to the Japanese alphabet, hiragana, katakana and kanji. Learning to introduce yourself in Japanese, accessing your learning goals and learning ability.
2. Learning about certain grammatical structures, how to ask and answer basic questions in Japanese.
3. Learning about the culture, cultural nuances and how you could apply your basic knowledge to these situations.
4. Personalized session revising the basics and reassessing the goals of each student.

No knowledge is required. Just be willing to learn!

I'm a uni student who is currently about to enter my masters degree of teaching. I am tutoring students every week Japanese and have dealt with people of all types including people with disability, and people who wish to pursue different goals. I'm in the process of creating a tutoring program and have recently acquired an ABN in pursuit of this goal.

I will teach depending on your goals, learning ability and however you wish to pursue your goals.
