What you'll do

You can't go wrong with this Perth workshop run by Gabriela Himstedt, where you will learn how to paint beautiful structural landscapes!

This seven-hour painting workshop will combine a number of exercises, both as a group and individually, that demonstrate the joy and versatility of art.

You will learn the basic concepts of design, light, form and atmospheric perspective. As we progress, learn how to take your landscapes to a more impressionistic and abstract level, improving on the aesthetical aspect of your artwork.

Our painting class is great for both beginners and more advanced painters. Starting with a smaller canvas and followed by a larger piece, this workshop is well-paced and super fun.

Return home with two completed artworks and tons of confidence to continue your artistic journey!

Colouryour.life was founded in 2015 by Gabriela Himstedt. Gabriela has a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years’ experience as a professional artist and has been teaching since 2011.

Gabriela was born in Germany but spent a lot of her childhood in Italy where colour and beautiful surroundings were an inspiration in her art. She has a degree in painting, drawing and sculpture which was obtained in Germany.

Gabriela has a passion for art and founded colouryour.life so she can share her vast knowledge with others in a fun and relaxed environment and guide their artistic skills to create a masterpiece.
