Pottery Class for Team Building

Looking for something fun, creative and a bit different for your team to enjoy together, to boost energy and good vibes? The team that clays together, stays together!

Our two-hour team building workshop will do just that! Your team will be expertly guided by Jude, who has over four decades of pottery experience, and overseen by Jacquie-O (the resident chicken) to ensure the mood is light and the creativity flows to a background of 80's music!

Your team will select either a plate or shallow bowl that they can then decorate and enhance with anything that inspires them.

We keep Fridays clear for groups to book for two hour Parties 10am to noon, 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Please be on time so all can have a wonderful experience as there is lots to prepare to make this an enjoyable, wonderful time for everyone.

Artisan Avenue will supply all coloured slip and clear gloss glaze, moulds, stencils and tools so that each person ends up with a COMPLETELY unique piece that results in a lot of pride from our students in their own creations. We love seeing the results—people really do surprise themselves with their creativity!

Teams are welcome to BYO and Fonzie Abbot is just across the road for brews after the class.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 6 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

• A selection of a pre-prepared plate or shallow bowl that they can then work with to add coloured slip glazes, clay decorations, patterns (whatever their imagination desires) from a huge selection of inspiration!
• Use of all tools and materials at the studio (as advised)
• Kiln firings of your finished product
• A representative for the group can pick up the finished pieces a few weeks (could be up to four weeks, weather dependent) after the class as we need to allow this time for the pieces to dry, the kiln to fill up and your pieces to be fired. Your pieces will be dishwasher, microwave, ovenproof and food safe.
• An email will be sent when your wonderful creations are ready!
