'Contemplate & rejuvenate.'

I'm Yoshi, the lead artisan at Terra-ya on the NSW Central Coast, the beautiful traditional lands of the Darkinjung people. In my past life I have been an interior architect & designer and disability carer. Now, I spend my days making landscaped, self-watering glass gardens in the Japanese aesthetic.

Japanese-style terrariums create a contemplative Zen space through stones, pebbles, moss and wood for harmony and serenity.

Creating terrariums with friends and family is a beautiful way to bond, have calm, and experience nature therapy.

Everyone can walk away from our workshops with a handcrafted terrarium and a beautiful memory together.

This was such a lovely way to learn about terrariums while building one.

The workshop was impeccably organised with range of designs, plants and materials to choose from.

Yoshi is a great teacher and a highly skilled artist (and Zen master!)

We both left with a beautiful terrariums and sense of calm.

It was really an experience and I highly recommend it.
