Looking for fun things to do in Perth for the holiday season? Want to make ten of your own Christmas presents to give away? Take a terrarium class with a difference!

In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of making a DIY terrarium of any size. Although this class is focused on making miniature terrariums, we want you to leave knowing how to make full size ones if you desire.

We will then begin making our 7.5 cm (or 5.5 cm for the very brave) terrariums. We will show you how to adapt your building style to best suit a smaller container, as you will learn how to use moss and soil in a constricted space and how to position your plant for its best display.

By the end, you will leave the class with ten tiny little gifts and the most unique presents of the season. Great for friends and family but also thank you presents for colleagues, secret Santa and teachers!

Don’t be concerned that you may not make all ten--your friendly teacher will be there on hand to help!

So what are you waiting for? Whether you're looking for relaxing date ideas or end of year Christmas party ideas, make sure to book into this fun terrarium making class!

I learnt about plants from my grandfather. I would watch him pull carrots out of the ground and wipe the dirt off on his pants. He would bend down from his place in the clouds, where giants lived, and hand them to me. It felt magical. And it still feels like that every time I start working my fingers through the root of plants for my terrarium.
