Wendy grew up in the UK and moved to Perth, WA, in 1992, where she has lived ever since. Wendy had an interest in sewing and crafts since she was a little girl, being taught many things by her Mum and Nan.

She’s always searching for, and learning, new techniques and never stops looking for inspiration. If she finds a new idea she has to try it and find new ways to explore it. She has to tell her brain to stop thinking from time to time!

Wendy has worked, taught, became a teacher and also has been a Group Leader for the Embroiderers' Guild of WA for many years. Having a massive embroidery library there is such a temptation and it's where a lot of her knowledge comes from.

Wendy loves sharing her passion with others and showing what can be achieved. She feels so proud when seeing a project that a student has finished, having learnt it in her Workshop, and gets great pleasure in watching students achieve their goals.
