What you'll do
Looking for unique things to do in Sydney? We invite you to a beautiful seven km guided hike followed by a luxurious high tea at Level 36!
Here we bring to life an atmosphere where you can go on a soulful hike, capture amazing memories of nature and the outdoors followed by laughs and endless chats over a luxurious high tea on Level 36 at the elegant Shangri-La hotel.
We start at Circular Quay, the hub for most ferry activity on the harbour and perhaps the most visited point in Sydney. Walk down to the eastern end of the quay where we follow the water around and shortly see the spans of the Opera House. Next, we'll enjoy the Royal Botanic Garden, then walk through the city again and circle back at Circular Quay.
After working up an appetite, we head to Shangri-La where we'll enjoy our special high tea on Level 36!
Indulge in a decadently delicious high tea with spectacular harbour views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. You’ll savour show-stopping desserts and savoury morsels on three tempting tiers. You can nestle into your seat and watch Sydney harbour glimmer and shimmer!
With two decades of experience, Shangri-La Sydney Head Pastry Chef, Kumiko Endo loves to share her passion for desserts and pastry with you all. Some of the treats you will savour are cashew mousse, pumpkin tart, schiacciata, fable mushroom open taco, chestnut chocolate mousse, apple tart, sticky date and pear brownie and muscat grape cake. This will make any high tea lover rejoice!
You can expect amazing views, lots of laughs, new friendships and a luxurious high tea experience! This experience will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, positive, soulful and bellyful.
We also adjust the pace of our hikes depending on group fitness levels and take regular breaks to allow rest time and time to click your photos and selfies!
