Plant First Aid Workshop

Do your beloved houseplants need a little TLC? Come along to this plant 101 workshop in Sydney to learn the tips and tricks of Plant First Aid and how you can bring them back from the brink.

You can bring in your own struggling green friends* or practise on the sick plants provided. Throughout the course of this workshop, we will learn practical methods to identify issues before they get worse and learn how to treat a range of plant pests and diseases. You will leave with the confidence to give your current and future plants what they need to thrive.

Workshop Highlights:

• Hands-On Plant Care: This interactive workshop is designed for plant lovers of all experience levels. Our expert instructor and Wattle & Bee owner, Felicity, will guide you through the diagnosis and treatment of your plant's ailments, providing you with valuable skills to care for your green companions.
• First Aid for Plants: Discover essential plant first aid techniques, including repotting, pruning, soil health assessment, and pest control strategies to ensure your plants receive the proper care they deserve.
• Nutritional Guidance: Understand the nutritional needs of your plants and how to provide them with the right balance of nutrients for optimal growth.
• Environment Assessment: Learn to create the ideal environment for your plants, including proper lighting conditions, humidity levels, and temperature control.

*You can bring along up to 3 plants with a pot diameter of no more than 200mm.
**This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 15.

Beginner-friendly.
 

• Take home either your own or a supplied plant that you have given Plant First Aid to.
• A free Plant First Aid booklet to take home and refer to whenever needed.
• All materials such as potting mix, organic pest control products, and equipment are provided during the workshop.

• Up to 3 of your own sick or damaged plants (maximum pot diameter 200mm) or you can use one of the plants supplied.
• Note pad and pen optional.
