What you'll do

Join glass artist Clive Hillier at his Kingsford studio for a stained glass art class. With over 20 years of experience, Clive will guide you through the process of drawing, glass cutting and assembling your piece of art to create a small window, decorative hanging or small lamp.

Don't worry if you're a beginner---Clive provides a supportive and encouraging environment for all levels of experience.

Throughout the class, you will have the opportunity to explore your creativity and immerse yourself in learning how to make stained glass art. Classes will run over a six-week term from 6.00PM to 9.00PM (Monday class) or 10.00AM to 1.00PM (Saturday class). Six three-hour sessions in each term beginning on the date mentioned below.

Minimal knowledge, just a will to learn

What you'll get

Full use of the studio and its facilities

Practise glass for learning how to cut
Loan tools for the first week to practise glass cutting and use of major tools such as glass grinders and soldering irons

What to bring

Please wear covered shoes and long trousers or jeans
Goggles or glasses must be worn when using glass grinders
Expectant or breastfeeding mothers are not permitted to attend due to risks of lead exposure to the infants

This class series runs over 6 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
