Looking for relaxing things to do in Melbourne? Learn acrylic painting with Setareh Hosseini of Live For Art in a fun, relaxing class or Paint and Sip.

This painting workshop will help you express your creativity and develop your acrylic painting skills.

Every 2 weeks, you will focus on a different inspiring artist to explore a variety of techniques and styles. Artists range from the greats like Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse and Picasso to modern artists Gustav Klimt, David Hockney, Hokusai and Frida Kahlo.

Note: You attend 2 classes over 2 weeks to complete the painting. So please be aware of dates:
2nd and 9th May - Yayoi Kusama (Pumpkin or On the Ocean)
17th and 23rd May - Leonardo Davinchi (Monalisa in Cubism's style)

Acrylics are a fabulous medium as they are easy to work with, colours are vibrant, and they dry quickly. You will learn a range of drawing and painting techniques and be guided to paint a picture or in the style of the inspiring artist who is the focus. You will produce an artwork you can proudly display in your home or living space.

Live For Art classes provide a supportive and friendly environment for you to build confidence and develop your art practice with guidance and feedback from your tutor.

So, at the end, you can take home your beautiful painting, as well as some new art skills!
