What you'll do
This workshop focuses on creating movable books. We will make books that flip and flap using various folding techniques.Movable Books: Learn the art of making interactive books that flip, flap, and move. You'll explore different folding techniques to create dynamic and engaging pages.Folding Techniques: Master a range of folding techniques to bring your books to life, adding an interactive element to each page.All tools and materials are provided, ensuring you have everything you need to craft unique and interactive movable books.

Please note:This is a technical workshop. Anyone with enthusiasm for making books and sewing is welcome to join in. No experience is necessary, but the workshop requires the use of sharp instruments, and being able to follow verbal instructions is expected.Drop off for the morning session is from 9am, and pick up by 1pm.Drop off for the afternoon session is from 1pm, and pick up by 5pm.If you have signed onto both classes, we will supervise an hour’s lunch from 12:30pm - 1:30pm. Please bring a nut-free packed lunch, drink bottle, and hat as we shall be lunching at the nearby park.Older students booked from age 16+ are welcome to make their way for lunch and, with consent from parents, are able to arrive and leave on their own accord. A text message shall be sent to parents on the student’s arrival and departure.Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before booking as a refund is not permitted for a change of mind.
