2 hours Class size 1 to 30 (public classes), 20 to 50

$15 - $29 (Earlybird price of $15 applies if you book into a public session 3+ days ahead)
These glazing sessions are for ceramic mugs or pieces we sell, or customers who have previously made clay pieces with us that have been through their first firing and are ready for painting.
During this ceramic painting class, one of our ceramic teachers will give you a brief introduction on using the specialised glazes and will then be available if you have any questions while you paint your items.
Once you have glazed the items, they will require a final firing to make them waterproof and food safe. We do not fire here, however, can recommend a local pottery supplies store.
Note: Please note the Ceramic pieces are for separate sale to the ticketed price. This ranges from $29 depending on the piece you select, including firing. Pressed mugs are $44 including firing, and organic hand built mugs are $59 including firing.
Firing only of pieces from our clay and sip, or wheel sessions is $15 per piece for the painted Glaze pieces. Hence, you can make the items in a clay and sip hand built, or wheel throwing session, and leave the piece to be fired the first time for ceramic painting. It will then need a second firing after the ceramic painting
For glazing, your ceramics bisk ware has been in the kiln this can be painted with ceramic underglaze paint, once dry, a clear glaze coat is added, and then it is ready for the second firing.
We offer a fun informative experience of the process. Firing takes 1-2 weeks
This session is discounted to only $15 for the seating, we do not offer transfer of date within the notice period of 7 days. You may give the session seating to another person however this is non-refundable if you do not make it.

I'm a Brisbane-based artist, and I've been painting and drawing since my early childhood days. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Queensland Art Gallery, which gave me ample opportunity to pursue my passion and hone my skills.
I'm very much inspired by the beauty and diversity of Australia. Many of my paintings focus on landscapes, surreal, animals and people. North Queensland is a particular favourite, and you'll see the influence of coral seas and mountain landscapes throughout my artwork. I have a post-impressionist style through which I try to capture the wonder of the world around us.
I specialise in pastel on card, and acrylic on canvas, though I'm also experimenting with abstract and air brush.
I've been fortunate enough to display my work in many art exhibitions, and have been the recipient of many prizes and awards.
I offer Paint and Sip sessions along with Clay and Sip sessions, both at discounted rates for ClassBento Patrons. I believe in bringing these experiences to the customer at the very best competitive price possible, the real Australian Way. The Retail on these sessions is RRP is $45 however I offer Clay and sip at $29 per person, and Paint and Sip sessions from $29 per person Earlybird tickets when booked 3 dyas before. Our Friday and Saturday nights are also the most competitive prices found in Brisbane discounted down to $29 per person earlybird tickets. We offer the highest quality service with artist assistants to help customers with their paintings, along with the teachers.
