Clay Hand Building and Pottery Wheel Class

Learn how to make a ceramic plate and bowl set

3 hours Class size 4 to 6     label $150

Join us in our rural pottery studio for a clay hand building class where you will make a ceramic plate and bowls to keep. Suitable for beginners and intermediate.

During the hand building class you will make five pieces: a small, rectangular plate, a medium bowl and a few matching small bowls, plus a bowl or cylinder on the wheel. You will be guided step-by-step through the hand-building exercises and each person will be assisted individually to have a try on the wheel.

Tea and coffee is available throughout the class and light morning/afternoon tea will be provided. (Please advise of any dietary restrictions).

Please note that firing may take 6-8 weeks to complete and we will advise when your finished pieces are ready for collection from our studio.
