Sink your hands into clay, really feel with your hands and no doubt get a little dirty in the process. What a sensual new experience for you and your partner!
Come along to date night wheel throwing class for a magical new creative experience to bring you closer together.
If you’re curious about what it feels like to shape clay spinning in your hands but not yet convinced about signing up for a five-week course, this is the experience for you!
Our two-hour pottery wheel intro class is ideal for those with zero experience who want to give the wheel a go! It's the perfect amount of time to understand the foundations of wheel throwing and the ceramics process.
This class includes approximately 15 minutes of studio introduction, getting to know clay and explaining the pottery process, and a wheel demonstration. You'll have 90 minutes of wheel time and 15 minutes for cleaning up your wheel and photo opportunities at the end of your class.
The wheel is a fun, mindful, and humbling teacher, unlikely to be mastered in just a single session. We provide unlimited balls of clay for unlimited attempts. The more you try, the better you get!
Unfortunately, firing of your creations is not included in this experience, but it is when you come back for our five-week wheel course.
